The State Museum of Auschwitz-Birkenau is compiling a list of persons who were deported to the Nazi extermination camp in order that the museum may honour both survivors and the memories of those who perished, according to an article in the Western Jewish Bulletin.
The museum would also appreciate receiving photographs of families before and during the Holocaust and immediately after liberation, as well as photocopies of documents and records.
